In the past two years we have researched intensively for ON THIS DAY, created a concept and made the first interviews with our protagonists of different generations in advance and created a teaser of it. Together we remembered in long and intensive interviews and asked ourselves: What has changed from then to now?

The focus is on the personal stories of our protagonists. They are the film, they make past events visible and perceptible to the audience through their memories and confront them with the questions that affect our society today: dealing with the media, life in the filter bubble, the individual <- > News consumer.

ON THIS DAY, on the one hand, deals with the global events of our recent history, on the other hand with the reception and takes on the psychological aspect of mediatized testimony with its effects on our society today. We also deal with our own handling of news.
